The price of the Logitech Z906 varies from different retailers. Amazon was found to have the lowest price of all the retailers at the time of the search for the Logitech Z906. Prices change so I would advise to click on the retailers to the right and type Logitech Z906 in the search of the site to check the price. I have also included customer reviews below, the reviews are different on every site. So again the best option is to check the sites by clicking on the retailers to the right, and a new tab will open directly to that site. Good luck with your purchase, and have a great day!

It’s too bad that they don’t allow star fractions. I’d give it a 4.5. Why not a 5? I’m sure there are better (read more expensive) systems out there that would blow this away, but for the price and what it is, it’s pretty good.
I have this hooked to my PC via analog cabling. I don’t have a dedicated sound board that has digital optical outs, so this review should take that into account. A digital connection could be different.
I bought this to replace a Klipsch Promedia 5.1 system that finally kicked the bucket after 15+ years of use. Logitech has done a great job, because these sound equal or better than the Klipsch system which was twice as expensive.
Pros. Everything has a smaller footprint than the old system, so it takes up less desk space. It can get VERY loud without distortion and can clearly be heard in other rooms of the house if I so choose. (The remote comes in quite handy here). The treble is far clearer than on the old system. Bass sounds loud and distortion free at high volumes.
Cons. Flimsy wiring. I’ll be replacing all the included speaker cable with something decent real soon. Bass is flat a low volumes.
Over-all, like the headline says. You may be able to find better PC speakers, but It would be hard to impossible to beat it at an equivalent price point. Kudos to Logitech!

I had to succumb after many repair attempts, over many previous patch jobs to keep my old Z-5500 running, it finally died after 10 awesome years. It was with great reluctance I bought this but was out of options.
The listening area in my office is roughly 16×16. This system really fills the space just like the 5500 did. With only an 8″ sub, vs the 10″ in its predecessor, the bass on this system is more punchy and tight. It is still very evident, and still fills the listening area, but doesn’t do the job the 10″ did. However, the satellite speakers have better high notes, and mids than the z-5500. They sound excellent. I even weighed them to compare and they were about 3oz heavier. The 906 satellite speakers are easier to wall mount as well, since they each come with a M6 mount receptacle right in their back. I was initially disappointed with the cheap feeling of the 906 controller, but this newer version lends itself better to hiding, like under a desk, a drawer or surface mounting it from above, it is a bit more discreet.
I also like how logitech ran the wire connections from the PC to the sub instead of the controller, keeping wire situation more manageable.
I’m really going to miss my Z5500… but this system has not disappointed. One can only hope it lasts as long as the old Z-5500.
